Doctor Office Can Drop Patients for Blogging
I am unable to get medical care from my doctor for a post that I've since deleted. They have dropped me as a patient for the blog post and offered to refer me to other doctors in the area. I hung up on the nice lady knowing this *FREE* country is, well, maybe not so free.
I'll try my old doctor's office back. I had no problems with them except that the doctor actually moved out of state and they did not find a replacement for him.

Put the post back up?
What was that post about? I think you should put that post back up. A company that does bad business and tries to quiet down the bad publicity, deserves all the bad publicity they can get.
It's really the original
It's really the original post above with the name stripped out and the name-calling :(
Wahoo!
Samaritan Family Health is like the best in the world. They not only took me back but squeezed me in right before the holidays. There is a doctor shortage and so it took them a while to find Dr. Olcott's replacement.
Is that why our health system is so good? Doctor shortages and hospitals that can fire you as a patient for posting information about their billing flub up? Hmmm. Does Canada do that?
Wow
How did they know you wrote a post about them?
I never liked [that place] when I lived down there. At the very least, the customer service lacked and the doctors, at least the two that I had went to had ultra poor bedside manner. You probably are better off going somewhere else.
They don't know 100% it is
They don't know 100% it is me but I own the domain name - it's easy to look it up. I decided long ago I wouldn't post anything that I wouldn't say in public.

Dr. Olcott
I miss Dr. Olcott. He was my doctor forever then suddenly, he was gone. I still miss him. I finally got another doctor. She seems real nice. But I've only seen her twice. I knew Dr. Olcott for over a decade. I never knew why he left, just suddenly got a letter about a year ago, that he was leaving for Wisconsin. Well, I hope the best for him, since he was a very nice man.
