Objective: Receptive Identification of Number Groups

Program 2

Receptive Identification of Number Groups

Response Definition - CK will identify groups of objects by the number of items in the group.

Teaching Procedure - Present CK with two containers (i.e., plates, baskets, boxes, etc.), each with a specific number of objects. Ask CK to identify the group that has number objects in it. CK should be presented with at least three written numerals from which to choose. If CK responds incorrectly or does not respond within 3 seconds, physically prompt CK to count the objects in the container, then re-present the SD. Mastery criteria are 80% for 2 sessions.

Data Collection - CK should be presented with 10 opportunities throughout a session to identify and give the appropriate number of objects.
