Objective: Count to Number
Program 3
Response Definition - CK will rote count to a specific number when asked to do so.
Teaching Procedure - The therapist should get CK's attention and ask him to count to a specific number. If CK does not begin counting within 3 seconds, the therapist should state, "Let's count together first". After CK counts with the therapist, the original SD should be re-presented. If CK counts past the requested number or doesn't count long enough, follow the same procedure. Be sure to interrupt CK if he counts too far. If CK continues to make errors after three days of instruction with the first set, please add a written cue. A mastery criterion is 100% for 1 session.
Data Collection - Provide CK with 10 opportunities throughout the course of a session to count to a specific number. Follow data collection protocol.
